Directed by Sohaila Kapur, this is based on Agatha Christie’s classic book, Appointment With Death, and the thriller is intriguing to say the least. Sohaila is one of the most respected directors in the industry and has previously directed plays like Rumi: Unveil The Sun, which received critical acclaim and was also performed in UK. The unnerving play embodies the suspense story dancing with death and unveiling the cryptic story of nothing but suspicions with an end that will have you on the edge.

Adaptations of Shakespeare’s originals, they are written by Rajat Kapoor and with the likes of Vinay Pathak, Kalki Koechlin, and Ranvir Shorey taking stage this year, it’s destined to be THE theatre festival of 2017. We at DSSC like to call it “Clowns taking over town”, because these clown themed theatre performances are doing just that. The four adaptations include Nothing Like Lear, Macbeth – What Is Done Is Done, Hamlet – The Clown Prince, and I Don’t Like It – As You Like It.
