This four-day celebration promises to be a melting pot of design, ideas, and trends, spotlighting the brightest minds in global architecture and interior design. This year’s edition is poised to captivate enthusiasts with an exceptional lineup of home-grown and international design experts, providing an exclusive platform for participating brands to explore emerging trends, share innovative ideas, and engage in conversations that pave the way for the design community.
Vice-chairperson of Ogaan Media, Aashti Bhartia, expresses her excitement, “We are very thrilled about the showcases and the speakers at ID 2024. There is so much that’s new this year — Ankon Mitra’s curation of paper artists from across the country in ‘On Paper Of Paper’ is a first-of-its-kind paper art and decor exhibit.”

Here’s what you need to look out for this year:
- Exhibits showcasing renowned Indian and international brands like Ligne Roset, Molteni, B&B Italian, Scavolini,
Gufram, Bo Concept, among others. - Talks, discussions, and presentations by industry luminaries, including Pritzker prize-winning architect Peter Zumthor, Odile Decq, Joe Doucet, Sumayya Vally, Ambrish Arora, Raghu Rai, Sunil Munjal, and Kate Malone, among other creative icons. These will take place throughout the three days at the ID Symposium.
- The ID Collectibles Talk featuring the President of Salone Del Mobile, Maria Porro.
- The Collectibles pavilion is returning for the second time and is set to dazzle with fantastic additions! Rooshad Shroff’s design studio and Samuel Barclay’s Case Goods make their debut, while returning favourites like Ashiesh Shah, DeMuro Das, and others bring forth exciting new pieces.
- The ID Honours, recognising and awarding honours to 50 of India’s top architecture and design projects. You can gear up to attend this on the 16th of February.
- A segment showcasing contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship, offering a glimpse into the ever-evolving design scene of India.
What’s new and exciting this time around:
A notable addition this year at ID, is the exhibition “On Paper Of Paper” by Ankon Mitra in collaboration with Apparao Galleries. Curated by Ankon Mitra, a practising sculptor, this exhibition introduces a paper exhibition of its kind at India Design ID. “On Paper Of Paper” brings together over 70 artists from across the country, presenting their paper works as installations, hanging pieces, and wall art.
