From The Pantry:
- 1 apple, deseeded & cut into small pieces (peeled/unpeeled to taste)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- ½ cup water
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of allspice
- A pinch of nutmeg
Cook Away:
- Combine all the ingredients except cinnamon powder in a blender & blend until they reach the consistency of a smoothie.
- Empty the blender contents into a mug and microwave it for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the warmed smoothie, add a slice of apple if you’re feeling fancy and serve!
