From The Pantry:
- 6 eggs
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 125 grams almonds, chopped
- 2 cups refined flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
- 2 ½ cups mixed fruits (plums, raisins, cherries, etc.)
Cook Away:
- Preheat the oven at 150C.
- Take an 8-inch cake pan and line it with baking paper.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of flour, almonds, and mixed fruits in a bowl and set aside.
- In a bowl add butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs and cream together.
- Fold in the remaining flour into this bowl.
- Now fold in the almonds mixture into this.
- Pour this into the cake pan and bake for 40 minutes.
- Your tea time snack is ready!
