Pune is all set to host an exclusive two-night bar takeover at Ukiyo in Ritz Carlton for cocktail enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike. As part of the Masters of Mixology series, Kyoto’s award-winning bar, Bee’s Knees will be hosting this bar pop-up on April 26 and 27 this year.
Bee’s Knees in Kyoto has consecutively been a part of Asia’s 50 Best Bars from 2020 to 2023. This speakeasy bar was ranked 44 in 2023. At Ukiyo, in Ritz Carlton in Pune, diners can indulge themselves in award-winning cocktails as part of this bar takeover from Japan.
Japan’s Keisuke Yamamoto, also known as KSK, has carved his niche in the global bartending scene with his innovations and passion for mixology. He is also the force behind Kyoto’s Bee’s Knees, Jeremiah in Tokyo, and Newjack in Yokohama through which Yamamoto has redefined the bar culture and set new standards in the industry. Yamamoto has also been a 12-time National Flair Bartending Competition Champion and has earned prestigious rankings in Asia’s 50 Best Bars list.

As part of this bar takeover at Ritz Carlton in Pune, Yamamoto will be whipping up his signature prohibition-era concoctions. Guests can also engage with the award-winning bartender as he shares insights into the art and science of mixology.
Each drink at this takeover will tell a story. Some of the cocktails will include the +81 High Ball —a revitalizing fusion of Toki Whiskey, The Truffle Bee’s Knees, and the Bambo Forest cocktails are for the ones who prefer the Roku gin, The Hoji Tea Boulevardier is a chocolate-infused drink and the Maiko Applum Martini is sure to tickle your taste buds!
The bar takeover by Kyoto’s Bee’s Knees is on April 26 and 27 this year at Ukiyo, in Ritz Carlton, Pune from 7 PM onwards.
