A no-fuss recipe to master your own Kobe steak.

From The Pantry:
- 1 (430 grams) kobe strip steak
- Coarse sea salt to taste
Cook Away:
- Tie the steak and place in freezer to firm the fat, for half-hour.
- Heat a large skillet over high heat for 5 minutes.
- Remove from refrigerator and once the skillet is hot, sear each side for 30 to 40 seconds and move to platter. Do not cook through. Sprinkle with salt for seasoning and rest before cutting.
- Place on a cutting board to cut horizontally into 1/4 inch strips. Make one clear cut while slicing rather than rugged cuts.
The steak strips are now ready to be served!
